Center for Innovation in the Use of Remote Sensing in Mechanical Industry for Precision Agriculture
CITIMAP is a limited liability consortium established in 2005 as part of the regional program for industrial research, innovation, and technology transfer in the Emilia-Romagna region. The mission of the center is to promote and transfer remote sensing technologies applied to precision farming and, more broadly, to foster technological innovation in agricultural production processes through decision-support IT technologies, aiming at sustainable territorial development.
In addition to its technical expertise, CITIMAP engages in training and dissemination activities related to the implementation of the aforementioned technology and, more generally, to the technological innovation of production processes in agriculture.

ABOUT US

CITIMAP is led by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza, representing the scientific component, and involves various companies and consortia as partners. The multidisciplinary approach, bridging academia and industry, enables us to offer a coherent and integrated set of solutions that effectively and modernly address all the needs of our clients while being strategically important for innovation and regional development.
